About me

I study the processes of theory and knowledge construction in early childhood and adulthood. To investigate theses issues, I focus on studying the psychological mechanisms involved in theory construction and theory revision across three different threads. I study (1) the role of error detection and correction processes in theory construction; (2) the role of cognitive skills and resources, such as consistency monitoring, executive functions, and reflective reasoning in theory construction; and (3) the role of factors that shape the social transmission of information.
